Sketches of small children by Gloria Poole

I am adding to this blog some of the sketches I Gloria Poole have drawn/ created/ painted of children as I practice drawing infants, toddlers and children to paint into oils on canvas. My reason for doing this because some people think that the Gloria Poole who is a Registered Nurse is not the same Gloria Poole who draws /sketches/ and paints. I am the same white , single [divorced twice] , Christian, woman who is both a Registered Nurse and an artist. Actually creating art began for me before I became a Registered Nurse because I took mechanical drawing before I went to nursing school [years ago in Atlanta, GA]. I was born in the state of Georgia; and have two grown daughters from my first marriage.

I admire the well known artist Mary Cassatt and her paintings of children and mothers. I think I have to practice more [drawing/ painting sketches] before I am good enough to paint children in oils; though I have created 1-2 of children in oils. I hope you enjoy these.

The first sketch is a toddler playing in a hat.

The second sketch is a mama and her baby at the swimming pool and the sun is hot so baby has a sun hat.

The third sketch is of a refugee child in a mission. It was not firmly attached to my drawing board when I photographed it again, but I have all of these actual sketches so might re-photo some of them again.

Prolifers are gaining ground in the battle for the unborn.

I am adding more of the news of how PROLIFE people are gaining ground by being very good provocateurs to bring about change in the laws in several countries. Here's one thing I have learned: if you are being effective there will be blowback against you by organized crime of Planned Parenthood and Center for Reproductive [killing]... It is organized crime because it's consortiums intended to control and manipulate elections, and Courts and Judges for the purpose of continuing and perpetrating premeditated killing of tiny, innocent, defenseless humans.. It is what the RICO public law was intended to stop. And their blowback is always thinly disguised just as it was in the garden of Eden when the wicked serpent enticed Eve to defy GOD by offering her fruit which GOD had told her not to eat.

You might think I put one here unintended but not so. I think lawyer Phil Kline will have more passion than ever to stop the steam roller of abortion from rolling over Kansas and prolifers because of the way he has been personally attacked. Also, the prolife people in the European Union have collected 1.3 million signatures which surpasses the requirement, to put a prolife modification into EU Parliament. The One of Us petition is on it's way. Read more:

I think on of the best prolife on-going statements is to have large families which is after all obeying the very first commandment of GOD in Genesis 1:28, King James Holy Bible as written, "And GOD blessed them and GOD said unto them, 'be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth, and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth," .

So, to sum up, add attorney Phil Kline to the prolife list of wonderful men and women; and also QB Phillip Rivers. Thank you. Prolifers are Ramping up to protest ObamaCare

News that greatly affects the whole nation:

Juggling expenses of a household is something every head of household anywhere understands from time to time. But what Christians do not accept or agree too, is the taxpayer support of the planned murders of innocents-in-the-wombs of women. We, Christians, collectively around the world cannot agree to that, nor accept it in our government. Christians everywhere are urged to read the scriptures and understand what is going on in the battle for the preborn.

The U S is not the only country with this problem. Per Life Site News, Canadians are facing same battle. As for what I personally am doing about the battle that is only a battle of words so far, I am blogging, tweeting, researching, painting paintings to try to provoke in some of the nation's most radical, hardened women in the world a maternal instinct. And trying to persuade using logic, medical facts, legal facts** and experience as Registered Nurse with much work experience, that tiny humans in the womb are human and they must be protected by the governments. I realized that the way to overturn Roe v Wade was suggested by Justice Blackmun who wrote the Roe decision in 1973 for the Supreme Court. Prolife Activities for wannabe Prolife Activists

I have been painting in oils for the past month, sort of thinking about how to proceed. I am always and forever prolife. The fact that certain ungodly organizations are attempting to censor the word prolife from the public dialogue infuriates me. And, yet is it any different from those in the Nazi era who were persecuted for protesting the gassing of the Jews? Or in the times of JESUS on the earth when His followers were persecuted?

I want to remind you that US citizens have First Amendment liberties, and they are very important. I want you to google the first Amendment for yourself; and read actual words. Summed up in my words those liberties are the right [liberty] to speak, write, publish, announce, declare, your religious or political beliefs, or any other beliefs without fear of persecution from the federal government; and the right [liberty] to associate with those you choose and also the right not to be forced to associate with those you do not choose to be with; and the right [liberty] to worship GOD publicly and say so, or not; and the right to not be forced to participate in government mandated secular religions or any religion.

For all you led by JESUS, [ONE with THE ALMIGHTY GOD per John 10:30,kjv] who want to take up your cross and follow JESUS into the battle for the lives of the preborn in the womb, and for the nation to continue and not be destroyed by depopulation, here are some peaceful law-abiding, fun ways to get involved in the prolife "battle": 1) Be present on sidewalks at abortuaries every day they open, sing praises to GOD on the sidewalk, march around them as in Bible times when the walls fell down after the Israelites marched around the city 7 times. Pray aloud, hold up signs asking women not to kill their offspring.

2) Distribute prolife literature at your church, synagogue, mosque, University, school social circle.

3) Wear clothing with prolife statements and prolife Scriptures. The Bible book stores usually have some but if not, organize a "make a prolife T-Shirt" day at your school using the campus meeting places to do it. Buy plain white T-Shirts [you want your message to leap off it into the eyesight of all] at almost any place that sells clothes, and use the fabric paints sold in arts & crafts stores to write your message and paint it on shirt. Then wear it often and be prepared for being a walking debate team and possibly also getting into physical combat. I write that because years ago, in Atlanta, GA while I was participating in a march around capitol and holding up the painting I had painted specifically for it, a prodeather came over to get in my face and said to me; "if you don't take that down, I"ll take it from you and smash it over your head". My reply was, " be prepared for prison if you do". That stopped that.

4) Organize marchers and drivers for the annual January March for Life to D.C.

5) Bake cupcakes, write prolife scriptures on piece of paper and attach to paper cup of cupcake and go downtown and distribute to all who exit the train, subway, city bus, public transportation, whatever.

6) Join in the "Prolife Silent Solidarity" movement on Oct 15th, by writing word LIFE boldly on red duct tape and put across your mouth. Make a poster that says you are showing empathy for those in the womb who cannot shout and say they want to live. Wear it to your classes, your activities, on public transportation all day.

7) Organize a march around your state capitol. Get as many people to participate as possible. Notify the local TV and radio stations and ask them to publicize it well ahead of event and often as a public service message. You have to send them the specifics, who, what, when, where, why in writing usually by a certain time to be in next day's broadcast etc. Ask your public channels to promote it--go there in person, see who has interest, see if you can get on their program.

8) Organize a prolife tent at your University. Try to staff it with students every day for as long as possible. You usually have to get permission from University [and that won't be easy and might involve a lawyer since Dept of Education tries to squelch prolife news and persons]; have medical posters illustrating how baby looks in womb. Prolife chapters usually have much help on this including free brochures, and posters you can use. Answer any questions , invite others to prolife meetings or to volunteer. Try to get your tent in the middle of the common areas for students.

9) Organize a PROLIFE walk-a-thon that is a event publicized to raise money for prolife literature etc, by getting pledges of donations of so much per each mile walked, then have walk-a-thon, and get local photographer to photograph leader handing check for donations to the local prolife chapter, put in news. Or use funds to buy prenatal care, clothing, food, for expectant mothers in unexpected pregnancies.

10) Ask your Pastor, Rabbi, church leader to allow you to address the congregation on this subject. Some prolife scriptures are: Genesis 1:27-28. Exodus 20:13, Jeremiah 1:5; Matthew 18:14 but there are many more.

11) Organize and participate in a candle-light vigil at abortuaries after they close, pray all night that GOD will close abortuaries.

12) Build tiny crosses for every baby aborted in your local abortuary, and ask Pastor to let you put them on Church, synagogue, mosque lawn.

13) Have a prolife concert. There are some prolife singers. Justin Bieber who is the heart-throb of America's teenage girls, is one of them.

14) Create prolife art and display it on your yard, or front door, or blogs, or tweet it.

15) Write prolife songs, poems, prose and publish them. Or sing them, videotape and put on youtube.

16) Create prolife blogs, and write of events that affect human life.

17) Use the word PROLIFE as often as possible in every possible way--defy censorship of life.

18) Donate money to prolife news, chapters, pregnancy resource centers.

19) Buy a prolife activist on sidewalk a take-away lunch and take it to them.

20) Offer to be a doula for a woman with unexpected pregnancy. Learn how to assist in labor, learn how to give prenatal massages to relieve backache of labor, learn how to reassure, educate yourself on what happens during labor and delivery and offer to be there for the woman when she goes into labor. Many women in that situation have no one to ask, because some unfaithful men abandon them [and often try to force abortion].

21) Be a living, walking, breathing prolife testimony that JESUS overcomes all adversity according to scripture in Revelations, and New Testament.

22) Write prolife letters to the editor of your local newspaper.

23) Participate in online forums, bulletin boards, chat rooms [only the good, safe ones please] and argue the case for human life--not to abort. You may never know til you get to heaven how much good you do by these activities.

24) Write letters to your U S Representative, or Senator stating why you are prolife, ask them to vote only prolife. Tell them you will be verifying how they vote, and do it. Go in person to their office and give them prolife literature if possible Citizens do not have to register as lobbyists unless they intend to give Congress-people money or gifts. Prolife literature is not gifts, but good citizenship.

25) Host an event at your house or apt--invite all women especially those of child-bearing age, and see if you can videotape the round-table discussion and put it on youtube as a prolife witness.

26) Videotape a new mother or father the first time they see their newborn infant--the pure joy of that event and put it on youtube.

27) Email everyone you know and tell them why you are prolife and ask them to vote for the prolife candidates and tell them who the prolife candidates are.

28). Put prolife stickers on your out-going U S mail.

Prolifers of the world, Unite

I read the news of almost all countries from time to time. There are 2 comments I want to make on that subject. First, the generic news of any country almost never present the prolife side of the news. And, the cause-specific news are so persecuted by the govt harassment agencies for the purpose of censorship that they have limited means to distribute their newsletters. The second point I want to make is that there seems to be thousands of prolife groups across the nation. Every county and city usually has a chapter, plus every University or college worth its salt also does. And churches have their own prolife group usually. So, it begs the question: since 52% of the population say they are prolife, why aren't laws being passed to end abortion as a so-called "right" since it is the premeditated murder of an innocent, tiny, defenseless human in the womb? Since prolifers are the MAJORITY voter in the US now, why are there no prolifers in Congress?

And why is the heinous act of premeditated murder of tiny defenseless humans in the womb still tolerated in the U S?

It is imperative that the prolifers unite for a common cause of ending abortion in the US in order to get the blessings of GOD on this nation again. The U S is crumbling as a republic. The Obama spynet is worst than the countries that were once communist. I really believe it is because the respect for human life was trampled on by the Obama administration, who laid a plan to depopulate the U S to its ruin.

Prolifers have to get better organized and they have to do something every day to end abortion: write; blog; march; protest; lobby; make art to support life; sing; write poems--something. Everyone can do something.

I think it was Charles Wesley [and yes, I know he was Methodist and I am Baptist], said; 'do as much as you can, as often as you can.."; or something like that. Someone spoke that quote to me years ago, and it stuck in my mind. Prolifers have been half-way committed to the cause of ending abortion since Roe v Wade infamous usurpation of power happened long ago. But wars are not won by half-hearted attempts. If you doubt that, ask yourself if you are a U S citizen why Vietnam is communist today when the U S "fought a war" there to stop communism. It was because it was the war of that time as the "war in Afghanistan " is now--a mock war, with the purpose of transferring as much of the wealth and military power of the U S to Muslim nations as possible while fooling most of the Congress at the same time. OH? You doubt that? How many Generals who wanted to win that "war" were fired by Obama?

My point is, that prolifers are too splintered a group. That is not an 'accident" but is carefully worked at by the Obama regime, who used the IRS in the past 2 years to intimidate and harass prolifers, and used the malware from the Pentagon to disrupt the computers and plans of prolifers; and the Dept of "Justice" to harass via Court [through the Planned Parenthood connection to DoJ] any prolife group or Legislature that dares question the killing plans of Obama.

But we, PROLIFERS, cannot let those who kill determine the future of the U S. We, who know that GOD wrote in stone, "thou shalt not kill" {Exodus 20:13, KJV] have to PUSH* harder, do more, write more, protest more; march more, until human beings in the womb are safe from predators such as the killing group named to deceive that is euphemisticallly labeled "Planned Parenthood".

Enemies of the preborn and the human race: Enemy: 1) Also, sent to my inbox was a newsletter from eagletribune.com that has article about the race tomorrow in Massachusetts. Summed up it says that "republican" Gabriel Gomez assured all that he wouldn't vote prolife with his wishy-washy "reassurances" to those who murder. Of course, the dem in that race said plainly he's all for killing of innocents. I know why GOD sends destruction to Massachusett--they vote for it consistently. So don't be deceived by the so-called republican Gomez who doesn't intend to abide by the Republican Party platform. The biggest problem with the Republican Party is their house-divided "Big tent" hooey that let the wolf in the door. If any person or party does not know what they believe or why, they cannot lead a state or nation. JESUS said that in Matthew 12: 25, KJV: "And JESUS knew their thoughts and said unto them, 'every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand'."

Enemy: 2) Also, relevant to all battles in the Republican party between good and evil, is news that Anne Stone is a proabort lobbyist, not a republican. Do not be deceived by her. The Legislature of Texas is encouraging him to do more, be bolder, and call a special PROLIFE session to accomplish their goals. " Dear Governor Perry,

Thank you for the strong stands you take for life and for liberty.  The undersigned members of the House share your commitment to protect the sanctity of human life.  Despite an overwhelming pro-life majority in the House, not a single pro-life bill filed during this 83rd session reached the House floor. Since pro-life values are fundamental to us, and since the majority of Texans share these convictions, we are not willing to give up the fight.  In the struggle to defend life, we cannot take a day off – much less a legislative session.

In light of the increasing likelihood of a Special Session, we ask that you exercise your constitutional power and add pro-life bills to the call.

More specifically, we ask that you add the following matters to the call:

1.Protection of pain-capable unborn children from abortion at 20 weeks gestation;

2.Protection of women and unborn children by requiring abortion facilities to meet the same health and safety standards as ambulatory surgical centers; and

3.Protection of women and unborn children by requiring abortion doctors to secure and maintain privileges at an emergency room within thirty miles of the facility where they commit abortions.

4. Legislation ensuring that any Health Insurance Exchange (whether state or federal) set up in Texas does not include coverage for abortion.

On these matters of life, the will of the people has been frustrated thus far in the Regular Session. By adding these fundamentally important issues to the special session agenda, you can enable your pro-life House Members to defend innocent human life.
