As always these snippets of prolife news and events are posted here by me Gloria Poole,Registered Nurse, artist in all mediums, photographer, author, cartoonist, illustrator, for the purpose of educating the world on the cause of saving the human race from premeditated destruction by the enemies of human life. I received these news reports into my inbox and am helping to spread the word that the prolife and personhood movement is sweeping the nation. I numbered these for reference as I came to them in my reading and the numbers are not a ranking of priorities, but a way of facilitating reference for others.

1) [Missouri's] "Simon’s Law will do two important things:

Prevent any medical facility or practitioner from secretly placing a DNR order for children under 18 years of age without written consent of at least one parent or guardian.

2. Require that, upon request, a facility must disclose any existing written policy on denial of life-sustaining treatment."

2) "Indiana Gov. Mike Pence stressed his anti-abortion convictions on Friday, leaving fellow conservatives with the distinct impression he will sign a measure making the state the second to ban abortion in cases when a fetus has a genetic abnormality, such as Down syndrome...But Mike Fichter, CEO of anti-abortion group Indiana Right to Life, said he is convinced Pence will sign it.

3) "The lawsuit accuses Ingalls of violating the Maine Civil Rights Act by yelling so loudly about murdering babies, aborted babies’ blood and Jesus on Oct. 23 that his voice could be heard in the second-floor counseling and examination rooms of the facility..Pastor Andrew March claims in the federal lawsuit filed last December that other activities in Monument Square, such as parades, are louder than protests, but that police told him to lower his voice because of the content of what he was saying.

4) " North Carolina can issue specialty vehicle license plates with anti-abortion slogans while refusing to also produce tags that offer pro-abortion rights views, a federal appeals court ruled Thursday. In a 2-1 decision, the U.S. 4th Circuit Court of Appeals said North Carolina can issue license plates bearing the statement "Choose Life." 5) " GOP state lawmakers... nominated...Ken Cuccinelli to the state Supreme Court. The 47-year-old former Virginia attorney general and ex-state senator from Northern Virginia championed an anti-tax, anti-abortion, anti-gay rights, anti-environment message with a passion that made him the darling of the ultraconservative Tea Party contingent. 6) "Georgia would provide state-funded grants to "pregnancy resource centers" that offer medical care, counseling and other services to pregnant women while discouraging abortion, under legislation that easily passed the state House on Friday. The state Senate approved the measure on party lines last month. Senators must agree to some minor changes before the proposal can head to Gov. Nathan Deal's desk. To be eligible, facilities cannot encourage or discuss abortions as an option or refer women to clinics that perform abortions, except when the mother's life is threatened.

Senate Bill 1118, authored by Senator Joseph Silk, R-Broken Bow, makes an abortion performed when there’s the detection of a fetal heartbeat first-degree murder.

House Bill 2797, authored by Rep. Ann Coody, R-Lawton, passed the House last week. It created a provision for state funds to be set aside for anti-abortion curriculum to be taught in high schools, including having pro-life speakers or groups make presentations to students. 11) "The Florida Senate approved a bill today that both defunds Planned Parenthood and places new restrictions on abortion procedures,"..."The bill, SB 1722, is now headed to Governor Rick Scott’s desk, where it will almost certainly be signed into law. The bill,... mirrors laws passed in Texas and Louisiana. It requires doctors at clinics that perform abortions to have admitting privileges at a hospital “within reasonable proximity to the clinic,” whatever that might mean, or that the clinic have a “patient transfer agreement with local hospitals.... redefines trimesters... URGENT BECAUSE IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW: "Supporters of West Virginians for Life will gather at the Capitol on Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for annual Pro-Life Rally Day with the main event, a rally, at noon.

Maternal Fetal Specialist and Professor/Vice Chair of Ob-Gyn at WVU, Charleston, Dr. Byron Calhoun, will speak at the noon rally as well as National Right to Life Political Director Karen Cross. Additionally, Attorney General Patrick Morrisey, Senate President Bill Cole and House Speaker Tim Armstead will address the crowd along with several pro-life legislators. Petitions will be presented during the rally.

3) " A bill that would require public high schools to incorporate an anti-abortion message into their curricula advanced Monday from the Oklahoma House Appropriations and Budget Subcommittee on Education. House Bill 2797, by Rep. Ann Coody, R-Lawton, would also authorize state-funded public service announcements “for the purpose of achieving an abortion-free society.”

The bill is called the “Humanity of the Unborn Child Act,” and Coody said its intention is to instruct teenagers that life begins at conception.

4) '...in 2011, the Atlanta-based Christian group The Radiance Foundation erected 50 billboards around the city reading, “The 13th amendment freed us. Abortion enslaves us.” So far in 2016, there’s been a trend of politicians co-opting the language of Black Lives Matter to the same end. In January, Wisconsin Representative Sean Duffy criticized Congressional Black Caucus members for being pro-choice, saying they were failing to “defend the downtrodden.” Meanwhile, a Missouri state representative introduced the “All Lives Matter” bill, which would grant fetuses personhood. 5) "What will happen with the cases set to be heard this spring? Most notably, what will happen to the landmark abortion access case [of abortuary chain] Whole Woman’s Health v. Cole, which is, in some ways, the third iteration of Roe v. Wade and which is scheduled to hit the Supreme Court in March?...A 2013 Texas state law called HB2 that, as The New York Times explained, “requires abortion clinics to meet the same standards as hospital-style surgical centers and mandates that a doctor have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles of the facility where he or she performs abortions.” The law resulted in only 18 clinics across the state remaining open. The Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstadt case challenges that law. Whole Woman's Health argues that HB2 places an “undue burden” on women seeking abortions and limits access too greatly. The Supreme Court’s decision on this case would impact women’s reproductive rights in Texas and potentially across the country....What’s at stake in the case reaches far beyond Texas’ borders. If held up as Constitutional, HB2 could create a pathway for other states to enact similar laws, even further limiting abortion access across the country"

As usual I, Gloria Poole, Registered Nurse licensed in Missouri, write and own this blog. I am making a personal statement today. The goal of ALL anti-abortion groups has to be the end of "legal" premeditated killing of tiny defenseless humans in the womb. I personally have worked on the prolife cause since 1991, writing, emailing the entire world it seems, blogging, tweeting, creating art. Yet, what have the many prolife groups achieved? Has abortion ended? The prodeathers are crowing that they [manipulated or bribed] the Grand Jury and succeeded in getting charges against 2 investigative journalists in Texas. That is outrageous! All that proves is that the court system in the U S has become totally corrupt. Because the PURPOSE of courts is to protect the innocent, not the murderers. Remember that JESUS said, "every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. And every city or house divided against itself shall not stand' " Matthew 12: 25, KJV. If you are in a prolife organization, remember that killing at any age is not a "right" but a wrong. Prolifers cannot split hairs on the age of the baby in the womb. Since the premeditated murder of an innocent human being is forbidden by GOD HIMSELF in Exodus 20:13, KJV, the age of gestation is irrelevant. We prolife activists must hold the line to end abortion as a "legal" right because it is a heinous wrong against a baby, against the mother and father of the baby and against humanity. PERSONHOOD status for all humans is the goal. We, the people of the United States, must amend our U S Constitution to include the tiny humans in the womb in the definition of legal persons, because they are persons. There is a process to amend the Constitution and you can read it for yourself by googling the Cornell University Law School online Constitution.

Ohio is giving million dollars to pregnancy centers to help pregnant women

The state announced Tuesday that it will provide $1 million to 13 pro-life pregnancy centers in the 2016-2017 state budget, according to Ohio Right to Life. Ohio Gov. John Kasich signed the budget, which included the funding, in July; but the recipients of the Pregnancy and Parenting Support Program funding were just announced this week.

“Ohio is blessed to be home to more than 140 pregnancy centers that are actively assisting new mothers during and after pregnancy,” said Stephanie Ranade Krider, executive director of Ohio Right to Life....These organizations provide free material assistance to pregnant women in need, as well as parenting classes for mothers and fathers alike, a service that many centers consider a core element in empowering families.
